This is to notify farmers who wish to export potatoes to refrain from hoarding their products at source expecting a better price in the near future. Unlike in the past, the price for potato is expected to decline due the availability of local product from Nepal and India. Therefore, we request our farmers to sell their potato products at the prevailing market price at the earliest possible to avoid market disruption in the near future. In case we face export disruptions or fail to fetch better price in the future, FCBL will not be responsible for it.
