A stakeholder consultation meeting was held today at the FCBL Conference Hall, chaired by Dasho Dungpa, Phuentsholing, to seek approval for establishing an additional distribution warehouse at Pasakha under the FCBL Regional Office, Phuentsholing. The proposal was submitted in view of space constraints and vehicle congestion at the existing central warehouse, Phuentsholing, which is unable to adequately accommodate food reserves and essential food commodities supplied to district warehouses. The meeting focused on facilitating the direct movement of vehicles transporting essential food commodities through the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Pasakha to enhance import efficiency and streamline distribution operations. All concerned agencies agreed in principle to facilitate vehicle entry through ICP, Pasakha.
