The Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL) today welcomed the Chief Representative and Project Formulation Adviser from the JICA Bhutan Office during an official visit aimed at reviewing ongoing collaboration and development initiatives. During the visit, the JICA Volunteer stationed at FCBL delivered a presentation outlining key initiatives being implemented under his assignment in Supply Chain Management. The initiatives are focused on improving operational efficiency and strengthening internal systems within the organization. The delegation also toured several important FCBL facilities, including the Central Warehouse, Rice Fortification Plant, Auction Yard, and the Regional Office in Phuentsholing. Officials were briefed on the corporation’s major operational processes and ongoing activities at each location. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange insights on current operations and discuss efforts to enhance service delivery and improve organizational performance. FCBL expressed its appreciation to JICA for its continued partnership and support in strengthening institutional capacity and advancing development initiatives.
