The Regional Office of the Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL) in Samdrup Jongkhar is currently conducting a Business-to-Business (B2B) coordination meeting with farmer groups from Mongar Dzongkhag. The meeting is being organized with the support of the Mongar Regional Agricultural & Marketing Cooperative (RAMCO) Office and aims to strengthen supply linkages for locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables (FF&V) to the Gyalpozhing Gyalsung Academy. The initiative focuses on improving structured market access for local farmers by developing a reliable and sustainable supply chain. Key discussions during the meeting include strengthening product aggregation, maintaining consistent quality standards, ensuring transparent pricing mechanisms, and establishing clear delivery schedules and volume commitments to balance supply with institutional demand. Through this engagement, FCBL continues to facilitate stronger collaboration between farmers, cooperatives, and institutional buyers to enhance agricultural marketing opportunities. As FCBL continues supplying fresh produce to the Gyalsung Academies, the corporation looks forward to the continued support and cooperation of all stakeholders in creating dependable market opportunities for farmers while ensuring a steady supply of quality produce to the Academy.
