The Food Corporation of Bhutan Limited (FCBL) has expanded its transport capacity with the addition of four new Eicher Jumbo Trucks and one DCM truck to its owned fleet, reinforcing its commitment to efficient and reliable service delivery. The move is expected to enhance operational reliability, particularly for time-sensitive activities such as the distribution of essential food commodities. The expanded fleet will also play a crucial role in supporting national initiatives, including the School Feeding Programme and Gyalsung Academies, by ensuring timely delivery of rations across the country. FCBL officials stated that the new vehicles are expected to improve overall delivery efficiency, streamline logistics operations, and contribute to maintaining market price stability. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to delivering timely and dependable services to its customers and stakeholders. FCBL expressed its appreciation to the State Trading Corporation Limited (STCBL), Phuentsholing, for facilitating the timely procurement and delivery of the vehicles.
