The Central Region, under the leadership of the Regional Director, has successfully formalized an agreement with a farmers’ cooperative to supply fresh fruits and vegetables to Taraythang Gyalsung Academy in Sarpang. This milestone highlights ongoing efforts to strengthen local supply systems while ensuring the academy receives a consistent supply of high-quality produce. Through this partnership, Taraythang Gyalsung Academy will benefit from a steady and reliable supply of fresh agricultural products. At the same time, the initiative creates sustainable market opportunities for local farmers and aggregators, contributing to the growth and efficiency of the agricultural value chain by directly linking producers with institutional demand. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of the Dzongkhag Agricultural Officer (DAO), Sarpang, along with representatives from the Regional Agricultural Marketing Cooperative (RAMCO), Gelephu, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration among stakeholders.
