The Hon'ble Chairman along with the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) launched the Annual Report 2018 of Food Corporation Bhutan Limited (FCBL) this morning at the FCBL's regional office in Thimphu. The Report attempts to offer their readers a comprehensive performance report of 2018 and some of their plans for the following years.

"One of the highlights of 2018 is the swift delivery of auctioning services. Farmers fetched a record price of as high as Nu. 57 per kilogram of potato", according to the message from the Hon'ble Chairman. He also pointed out in his message that operation of farm shop was found to be economically unsustainable. He added, "Continuity of farm shops requires support from the government for employment generation".

The Chief Executive Office of FCBL claims that FCBL was able to render uncompromised social services as per the plan despite numerous challenges in the field. As FCBL strives for an accelerated sales and services, the company solicits uninterrupted support and cooperation from their stakeholders.
