This is to inform all farmers and concerned officials of the Gewogs and Dzongkhags that the Phuentsholing Auction Yard will remain temporarily closed from 19th October to 21st October 2026 in observance of Durga Puja and the Dashain festive period. The decision for this temporary closure has been made in view of the significant participation of buyers in the religious observances and Dashain celebrations, as many buyers will be observing the puja during this period. Normal auction operations will resume on 22nd October 2026. To avoid any inconvenience, all farmers, buyers, and other concerned stakeholders are kindly requested to adjust their schedules and plan the transportation and delivery of their goods accordingly.
